The 2025 RAM HD features a completely redesigned fuel filtration system. The old dual-location setup from 2019-2024 (68157291AA engine-mounted + 68436631AA frame-rail) has been replaced with a new integrated housing that uses the 68677800AA dual-cartridge fuel filter. The oil filter has also changed — the 5083285AA (which covered trucks from 1989-2024) is replaced by the new 68677810AA. If you recently upgraded from an older RAM to a 2025+, these are your NEW part numbers.
Both filters are manufactured by Mopar (a division of Stellantis) using production-grade OEM filtration media. The fuel filter removes contaminants and water from diesel fuel to protect your CP4.2 high-pressure fuel pump and injectors.
