Refund & Return Policy (OEM Auto Source)

Thank you for shopping with OEM Auto Source. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Refund & Return Policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work for orders placed on our website. 

Return Window

You may request a return within 14 calendar days of delivery.

Items Eligible for Return

We accept returns for both defective and non‑defective items, as long as the item meets the return conditions below.

Return Conditions (Required)

To be eligible for a return:

  • Your return request must be submitted within 14 days of delivery
  • The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition (unless the return is due to damage/defect)
  • The item must be returned with original packaging, labels, manuals, and all included parts/accessories (when applicable)
  • You must provide proof of purchase (order number / invoice)

Non‑Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Gift cards
  • Digital products / downloadable software
  • Custom, special‑order, or made‑to‑order items
  • Items marked Final Sale (if shown on the product page)
  • Items not purchased directly from OEM Auto Source
  • Any item returned that is used, installed, altered, or missing parts (may be refused or may receive a partial refund at our discretion)

How to Start a Return (RMA Required)

To start a return, contact our team within 14 days of delivery. We will review your request and guide you through the next steps.

Please include:

  • Order number
  • Item(s) you want to return
  • Reason for return
  • Photos/video if the item is defective or damaged

If your return is approved, we will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and the warehouse return address with shipping instructions.
Do not ship anything back without an RMA—returns sent without an RMA may be delayed, refused, or returned to sender.

Where to Send Returns

All approved returns must be shipped to our warehouse return address provided by our team after RMA approval (the return address may be different from our business mailing address).

Return Shipping Costs

  • Defective / damaged / incorrect item sent: We will provide a prepaid return label, or we may reimburse reasonable return shipping costs with proof if a label cannot be provided.
  • Non‑defective return (change of mind, ordered wrong item, no longer needed, etc.): The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

We recommend using a tracked shipping method. We are not responsible for packages lost in transit.

Restocking Fees (Non‑Defective Returns)

For non‑defective returns, a restocking fee of up to 15% may apply (depending on item condition and packaging).

No restocking fee is charged for defective, damaged, or incorrect items.

Refunds

Once we receive your return:

  • Inspection time: 2–5 business days (may take longer during peak periods)
  • If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Refund posting time: Please allow 3–10 business days for your bank/card issuer to post the refund

What is refunded:

  • Product price (minus any restocking fee if applicable)
  • Original shipping charges are not refundable unless the return is due to our error (defective/damaged/incorrect item)

Exchanges / Replacements

If you received a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, we can offer:

  • A replacement (if available), or
  • A refund

We’ll confirm the best option after reviewing the details you provide.

Cancellations

If you contact us quickly, we will do our best to cancel an order before it ships. If the order has already shipped, you may request a return under this policy once the item is delivered.
